New Summer Acting Classes!

Acting Workshops with Scott Calcagno for ages 7 and up!
Professional Actor, Director, and Acting Coach, Scott Calcagno will be conducting two special acting workshops, right here at HCA! Visiting us from New York City, Scott has coached young actors that have appeared in feature films such as Twilight and The Changeling (starring Angelina Jolie), nationally viewed commercials for Staples and TJ Maxx and TV series including Law and Order and Gossip Girl. Scott also works with agents and managers in NYC and Hollywood as a private coach to help actors with auditions and performances.
Scott's resume also includes his own appearances in the films Duplicity (starring Julia Roberts and Clive Owen) and She's Having a Baby (starring Kevin Bacon). Scott has acted on Broadway in Ragtime and Into the Woods and has directed productions at the Drury Lane Theater and for clients such as McDonald's and the TV show House, among others.
These workshops are perfect for the young actor who wants to learn what it takes to successfully audition for Film, TV and Commercials. Families will be given the opportunity observe the actors and receive valuable information from Scott about acting and the business.
Acting Workshop I

July 15:
5:00 - 7:00 pm : Ages 7 - 12
7: 30 - 9:30 pm: Ages 13 +

July 16:
5:00 - 7:30 pm (families join the last half hour): Ages 7 - 12
7:30 - 10:00 pm (families join the last half hour): Ages 13 +
$140 HCA members/$160 non-members


Acting Workshop II- 5-day intensive
*Audition required for admittance to Workshop II

Ages 13 and up
Saturday July 17: 1:00 - 4:00
Monday - Thursday, July 19 - July 22: 6:00 - 9:00 pm
$450 HCA Members/$465 non-members
